Green Mall is one of the largest garden centre with one of the finest nursery in India spread over an area of 100 Bighas. The course has been designed by Sri Dinesh Rawat, founder of Green Mall, a well-known environmentalist and expert in greening and landscaping. He has authored several books on this subject.
Time has changed so those who can afford, are very keen to Green their surroundings. Those who are living in flats and apartments like to have a green balcony, vertical garden, Rooftop terrace garden, and garden with hanging plants. Those who have some space and land, they like to have a nice garden, grow their own organic fruits and vegetables, but their desires are not fulfilled because they do not get right man with desirable knowledge.
Large housing complexes, hospitals, shopping malls, clubs, factories, offices are coming up everywhere and they are also finding it difficult to recruit knowledgeable persons due to shortage.
This module would provide all relevant and practical training to a student to become an expert gardener and make a rewarding career. 90% of the training would be in the field, nursery and landscaping sites, only 10% training would be in Class Room which would be related to development of personality and entrepreneurship skills.
This course is open to boys and girls between age group of 16 to 30 with a minimum Madhyamik qualification.
